The Benefits of Smoking Cessation

It doesn't matter how many years you've been a smoker, you will see improvements in your life when you quit using tobacco. Some benefits are the obvious ones we usually think of. Things like better breathing, fewer colds and bronchial problems, and more money in our pockets. There are many more positive changes you'll experience, some of which you may not be able to imagine while you're still smoking. This list of benefits was compiled by our Smoking Cessation Forum members here at About.com, and it's just a sampling of the many improvements they've seen since quitting.
