Holly loses her grandmother to lung cancer

Thursday February 26, 2004
I'd like to introduce Holly. Her story about losing her grandmother to lung cancer is poignant and real. So many of us have been touched by the loss of a loved one to smoking-related causes. Holly's account comes to us via www.VoicesAgainstTobacco.org, a site dedicated to giving voice to those who have been lost to tobacco, as well as those who still struggle to quit. This site is a division of the National Center for Tobacco-Free Kids, and to date has over 1500 stories in their collection.

We've got to do all that we can to raise awareness about this deadly addiction, and help our kids see it for what it is. The only way to truly end the cycle is to convince young people to never start.
