Class Action Suit Certified Against Big Tobacco

Yesterday, U.S. District Judge Jack Weinstein certified a class action suit against tobacco companies by smokers who say they were deceived into thinking "light" cigarettes were better for them than regular cigarettes when tobacco manufacturers knew this wasn't true. Jury selection is set for January 27, 2007.

I have copd….was deceived about ultra light cig…..On dissability for other problems….Take many medications…..Have to get supplement medical insurance….Don’t have enough coverage for my meds……
