The About.com Healthy Monday Newsletter

Sunday June 22, 2008
For most of us, Monday is the day we pick to begin work on changing our lives for the better...whether that means a new diet, getting more exercise, or quitting smoking. And this time of year, our resolve to make those improvements is usually a primary focus.

The Healthy Monday initiative, started by the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, is geared toward bringing organizations together with the common goal of helping us achieve and sustain a healthy lifestyle. They do this by encouraging us to think of every Monday as a day that we can begin work anew on goals that we have for ourselves.

As a proud participant of the Healthy MondaySM campaign, About.com has developed a weekly newsletter devoted to helping us improve our health, one Monday at a time. You'll receive tips and practical advice to inspire you from Guides across the About.com network, and best of all, it costs you nothing other than the time it takes to read it.

Give yourself the gift of better health, and resolve to make it happen, one simple Monday at a time.
