Dar's Miracle Quit Story

Thursday December 4, 2008
After smoking for 50 years, Dar finally said enough is enough, and stubbed out that last cigarette.

She has several smoking-related health problems, but within just a few short months of quitting, her life has begun to improve in monumental ways. Dar will celebrate 6 months smoke-free in a few days, and is well on her way to the freedom we all dream about when we quit smoking.

If you're looking for the motivation to take on a self-improvement challenge of your own, please read Dar's quit story. It is a powerful example of what a person can accomplish with determination, support and a healthy dose of patience.

It is truly never too late to quit smoking.

Congratulations, Dar!

I am 59 years young and I have not smoked for almost one month. The question…is it too late?…does it really matter at my age? There was something basic about my not being in some control of some of my reactions to stress, etc. Something personal and mocking…smoke, disease, self hate, low self esteem…f this I want out and finally I’ve started the walk. Thank you.
