Definition:
Nicotine Replacement Therapy, often identified as NRT, is any form of smoking cessation aid which delivers a measured dose of nicotine to the person using it. Examples of NRT's include: the nicotine patch, nicotine gum, nicotine lozenges, nicotine inhalers and nicotine nasal spray.
