Squamous Cell Cancer

Definition:
Squamous cell cancer refers to cancer which is located in the middle layer of the skin. Squamous cell cancer is a malignant non-small cell cancer, and while it is more aggressive than basal cell cancer, it can still be relatively slow to grow. This type of cancer is also more likely to metastasize(spread) to other parts of the body, including internal organs.
