Definition: As the term suggests, smokeless tobacco describes a variety of tobacco products that are not smoked by the consumer. Smokeless tobacco products, while less harmful than smoking, are still extremely hazardous to human health.

Smokeless tobacco increases the risk for oral cancer and, because it contains nicotine, smokeless tobacco is highly addictive. The only safe tobacco product is one that you don't use.
