Lung Cancer Awareness Week Nov. 17-21, 2003

Tuesday November 18, 2003
Lung cancer, known as the "invisible disease," accounts for 28% of all cancer deaths in the United States. This year, according to the American Cancer Society, approximately 200,000 people will be diagnosed with lung cancer, and 150,000 of them will die from it. Lung Cancer Awareness Week 2003 puts focus on prevention and early detection of this disease, as well as where to find support.
