Definition:
The 7 Percent Club is a term adopted by the members of About.com's Smoking Cessation forum to signify the achievement of one year smoke-free.

Statistics tell us that approximately 5 to 7 percent of those people who quit smoking without support are still smoke-free one year later. The key to changing those odds involves support. People who quit smoking with a strong support network around them improve their chances for long-term success considerably.
